International Parliamentarians Congress

Islamabad, 27th July 2026 – The International Parliamentarians Congress (IPC) hosted a formal farewell luncheon today to honor the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Khazar Farhadov, and the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, upon the successful completion of their diplomatic tenures in Pakistan.
The event was attended by members of the diplomatic corps including Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Mauritius, Rwanda, Spain, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and other officials.
The farewell lunch was held as a gesture of appreciation for the ambassadors’ valuable contributions towards strengthening relations and fostering greater understanding and cooperation between IPC and their respective countries.
Speaking on the occasion, Senator Sitara Ayaz appreciated the ambassadors’ support and engagement with the IPC and acknowledged their valuable role in promoting closer ties and meaningful dialogue. She expressed her best wishes to both ambassadors for their future assignments and hoped that the strong bonds of friendship between IPC, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan would continue to grow.
In their remarks, Ambassador Khazar Farhadov and Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin expressed heartfelt gratitude to IPC for their hospitality, warm partnership, and unwavering support throughout their respective assignments.
The event concluded with the presentation of commemorative mementos to the outgoing ambassadors as a token of goodwill, appreciation, and enduring friendship.
