Observer Status:
The African Parliamentary Union (APU), established in 1976, serves as a platform for parliamentary cooperation among African nations, promoting democracy, good governance, sustainable development, and social progress in Africa. The IPC obtained the observer status in the 77th session of the executive committee held in Kigali, Rwanda on 10th and 11th March 2022.
The Asian Parliamentary Association (APA), a regional inter-parliamentary organization that promotes cooperation and understanding among Asian nations, is committed to working with other regional and international organizations to promote peace, stability, and sustainable development in Asia. The IPC had the privilege of getting a observer status at the APA’s 13th Plenary session held in Antalya, Turkey on 10th January 2023.
The Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network (NAM-PN) is a parliamentary network of legislators from NAM member countries that seeks to strengthen cooperation among its member states on economic, social, and political issues. The IPC participated in the NAM-PN Second conference held in Manama, Bahrain on 13th March 2023 and received a observer status.
