Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has said that interconnectivity between the Parliamentarians at the global level has gained utmost importance in today’s world as no organization or individual can handle challenges in isolation. ” We need to work with the collective wisdom and develop a joint strategy to overcome challenges and pace up the development process for the sake of humanity,” said Sanjrani. He said that common challenges required common solutions to those problems. Talking to a parliamentary delegation of Oman, the Chairman Senate apprised about the recently conceived International Parliamentarian Congress (IPC) for making a collective effort to promote peace and stability at the global level.
The delegation was led by Khalid Bin Hilal Al-Maawali , Chairman of Majlis Al-Shura of Oman. Chairman Senate also shared important information containing salient features of the forum with the delegation.
IPC, he said, aims to establish a political discourse across continents and regions based upon cooperation, understanding and mutual respect.
He hoped that the establishment of Congress would help develop a joint response against the common challenges in today’s globalized scenario.
