Islamabad, 28th August 2025— His Excellency, Yusuf Sharifzoda, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan, along with the Deputy Head of Mission, visited the Secretariat of the International Parliamentarians Congress (IPC) today.
During the visit, the Ambassador held a productive meeting with the Secretary General of IPC, H.E. Senator Sitara Ayaz. Discussions centered on enhancing multilateral cooperation, parliamentary diplomacy, and collaborative initiatives between IPC and the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Secretary General IPC welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted IPC’s commitment to fostering global dialogue, sustainable development, and regional cooperation through parliamentary engagement. Both sides exchanged views on deepening ties through joint programs, capacity-building initiatives, and platforms promoting mutual understanding among parliamentarians.
The visit concluded with a shared commitment to furthering strategic cooperation and exploring future opportunities for engagement between the IPC and the Tajik Parliament.
